About the Role

You’ll be part of the team supporting Flipdish’s mission to make running a restaurant satisfyingly simple. This role is a generalist role with an emphasis on two core regulatory mindset areas - employment law and data protection - alongside an interesting and varied mix of other legal work spanning corporate, M&A, IP and equity. .

You’ll partner closely with our People, Finance, Commercial, Product and Engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide pragmatic, risk-aware guidance, help shape internal processes, and ensure the business stays compliant.

What you’ll own

  • You are involved partner to the business who isn’t confined to their legal swim lane
  • You take a proactive approach to employment-law and handle issues consistently, with timely and well-documented advice.
  • You ensure data subject  requests are handled with clear legal triage, governance, and defensible timelines.
  • You strengthen our compliance culture through targeted training and practical guidance that teams can apply.
  • You own Companies Act compliance for our Irish entities alongside third party company secretarial support.
  • You scan for relevant legal changes that will impact our business and take a proactive approach to getting ahead of these.
  • You are a key part of the team managing our employee equity structure.
  • You are well known in the Commercial team for transacting partner contracts and triaging some novel customer queries.

About You
