What you'll do

  • Commercial contracts: draft, review, and negotiate agreements — framework agreements, service and subscription contracts, SLAs, amendments, NDAs, DPAs, and RFP responses — with hotel groups and partners, including prospect-imposed formats, while protecting D-EDGE's interests (term, exit, liability).
  • Business partnering: support sales and product teams directly to accelerate deal closing, arbitrate risk, and give pragmatic, actionable advice; standardise contract templates and processes to increase the teams' autonomy and speed.
  • Supplier and procurement contracts: review, negotiate, and manage supplier and vendor contracts (SaaS and inbound licences, service providers, freelance and consulting agreements, leases, and recurring purchases).
  • Intellectual property and product: advise on software licensing, data use, and terms of service, including the general terms and conditions and changes to business models.
  • Data protection and compliance: advise on GDPR (processing activities, transfers, cookies, policies), prepare for the AI Act (provider/deployer qualification), manage data incidents and breaches end to end with the data protection officer and external counsel, and respond to partner audits and due diligence.
  • Corporate: support corporate matters and manage confidential and strategic files.
  • External counsel management: coordinate law firms, on time and on budget.

What they're looking for

  • Master's degree (bac+5)
  • Six or more years of experience in commercial law and data protection, ideally in a law firm followed by an in-house role, preferably in tech or SaaS.
  • Proven track record drafting and negotiating high-volume contracts in both French and English.
  • Solid knowledge of GDPR.
  • Fluent French and English, written and spoken.
  • Hands-on and operational: comfortable running matters directly on a day-to-day basis, not only at a strategic or advisory level.
  • Business mindset: translates legal analysis into operational decisions and balances legal risk against commercial objectives.
  • Autonomy and ownership: manages files from first draft to signature with minimal supervision.
  • Resilience under volume and deadline pressure, staying calm on urgent and sensitive matters.
  • Clear, accessible communication with non-legal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Rigour, sense of priorities, discretion, and integrity.
