Senior Maintenance Planner

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Maintenance Planner to join us in our Gas Operations West team in Perth on a full time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Team Lead Asset Planning and Delivery, you will play a key role in leading integrated maintenance planning activities that optimise asset reliability, resource utilisation and operational performance. Working collaboratively across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Projects, the role ensures work is prioritised, planned, resource-aligned and execution-ready while driving continuous improvement in work management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integrated maintenance planning across short and medium-term planning horizons, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
• Facilitate work prioritisation, backlog management, work readiness and scheduling processes to optimise maintenance delivery.
• Coordinate planning activities across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects and Contractors to support efficient execution.
• Optimise resource utilisation through effective capacity planning, workload management and maintenance strategy development.
• Analyse maintenance performance and asset data to improve reliability, compliance, asset integrity and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement in work management systems, CMMS standards, planning processes and governance practices.

Your background

• Advanced maintenance planning, work management and asset management expertise.
• Strong knowledge of reliability-centred maintenance, maintenance strategies and asset performance.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Experience with CMMS platforms, maintenance reporting and data-driven performance improvement.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in resource optimisation, strategic planning, process governance and continuous improvement.
