Summary : Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence (CI), responsible for leading end-to-end CI delivery from the BMS Hyderabad Hub to support global pipeline and in-market assets. This role combines strategic hands-on intelligence leadership with people management responsibilities, requiring both individual contribution and team leadership. The role drives competitive strategy through primary and secondary intelligence, competitor monitoring, congress insights, and strategic simulation exercises. Partners closely with Business Development, Commercial, Medical, and R&D stakeholders to translate competitive and scientific intelligence into actionable business recommendations. Requires deep pharmaceutical CI expertise, strong leadership capabilities, stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex global matrix environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
CI Strategy & KITs/KIQs: Partner with global CI leads and Strategy/Commercial/franchise teams to define Key Intelligence Topics and Questions (KITs & KIQs); prioritize the CI agenda across therapeutic areas and translate business questions into structured research plans.

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
