What you'll do
- Secure and manage SCOMET licences and classifications for controlled / dual-use items
- Own EU REACH (and UK REACH) registrations, Only Representative arrangements, and SVHC compliance for chemical exports
- Handle import / export licences for scrap (metal / plastic / e-waste), critical metals, and specialty chemicals — including hazardous and restricted categories
- Manage DGFT filings: IEC, advance authorisations, EPCG, and product-specific licences
- Ensure compliance with destination-country regimes (e.g., TSCA in the US, K-REACH, China regulations, Basel Convention for scrap movement)
- Handle customs classification (HS codes), duty structures, and clearance escalations
- Track hazardous-material regulations, MSDS / SDS requirements, and dangerous-goods shipping norms
- Build and maintain a regulatory tracker; flag changes in trade policy across key markets
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, legal counsel, and government authorities
- Support new-market entry with regulatory feasibility assessments

Role Summary
Own end-to-end regulatory approvals and trade compliance across all markets Scimplify operates in. This is a hands-on role covering export controls, chemical registrations, and import/export licensing for scrap, metals, and chemicals — working with customs, DGFT, and international regulatory bodies.
