  • Secure and manage SCOMET licences and classifications for controlled / dual-use items
  • Own EU REACH (and UK REACH) registrations, Only Representative arrangements, and SVHC compliance for chemical exports
  • Handle import / export licences for scrap (metal / plastic / e-waste), critical metals, and specialty chemicals — including hazardous and restricted categories
  • Manage DGFT filings: IEC, advance authorisations, EPCG, and product-specific licences
  • Ensure compliance with destination-country regimes (e.g., TSCA in the US, K-REACH, China regulations, Basel Convention for scrap movement)
  • Handle customs classification (HS codes), duty structures, and clearance escalations
  • Track hazardous-material regulations, MSDS / SDS requirements, and dangerous-goods shipping norms
  • Build and maintain a regulatory tracker; flag changes in trade policy across key markets
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, legal counsel, and government authorities
  • Support new-market entry with regulatory feasibility assessments

As we scale cross-border sourcing and trade — including scrap, critical metals, and specialty chemicals — we are building in-house regulatory capability to keep global operations compliant and fast-moving.

Role Summary

Own end-to-end regulatory approvals and trade compliance across all markets Scimplify operates in. This is a hands-on role covering export controls, chemical registrations, and import/export licensing for scrap, metals, and chemicals — working with customs, DGFT, and international regulatory bodies.
