Position Summary

The Senior Manager, FP&A Medicare/Medicaid Drug Revenue is responsible for leading the financial planning and performance management of Medicare and Medicaid drug revenue and volume within CVS Health's Pharmacy Services business. Reporting to the Director, FP&A Medicare/Medicaid Network Performance, this role manages a team of 2 direct reports (2 Sr. Analysts) and leads the development of multi‑year strategic plans, annual budgets, forecast, and the monthly close process, including weekly performance updates for Non‑Medicare Revenue.

The Senior Manager serves as the primary financial subject matter expert for Medicare and Medicaid drug revenue trends, partnering closely with the Network Pricing, Underwriting, Enterprise Economics and other cross-functional teams to analyze and explain volume, price, and mix dynamics.  The role delivers clear, insightful variance analysis and actionable commentary to senior leadership and plays a critical role in ensuring Medicare and Medicaid network revenue is accurately reflected across the full Network P&L.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 years of relevant overall work experience

  • 3 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting preferably in managed care, PBM, or government-sponsored health program environment

  • 1 year of people leadership experience with ability to manage and develop a team of 4+ analysts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a managed care, PBM, or government-sponsored health program environment

  • Deep knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid drug benefit structures, pricing dynamics, and regulatory impacts on pharmacy revenue

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and financial planning tools

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex financial data into clear executive-ready narratives

  • Collaborative team player with experience partnering across Pricing, Actuarial, and Business functions

  • Strong understanding of commercial pharmacy revenue drivers including volume, price, mix, and client contractual structures

  • Clear and effective communication skills; ability to translate financial complexity into concise executive-ready reporting

  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with Pricing, Business Development, and Client Management teams

Education

Bachelor’s Degree; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute ( 4 years)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
