Candidate will be responsible for providing legal and corporate secretarial support to the Singapore business and collaborating with counterparts in other business divisions with an overseas presence. Proven track record and experience in data centre and sub-sea cable projects would be valuable
Key qualifications and skills include:
- A law degree from a recognised university with at least 5 years of complex M&A or commercial post-qualification experience and a strong working knowledge of the SGX regulatory framework.
- Experience working in diverse business environments is desirable.
- The ability to partner directly with senior stakeholders on critical projects in a fast-paced environment, and to independently pre-empt, manage, and address escalation points, using strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
- Pragmatism, a strong ownership and solution-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and engage with complex regulatory requirements and bespoke issues, especially in the context of business growth and strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proactive and resourceful attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong time management and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across functions.
- Experience with budget management, as well as managing external counsel, will also be key.
