Position Overview:
The Senior Plant Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day manufacturing operations for Regal Rexnord’s Charlotte, NC facility within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Gearing Division. The facility is a ~160 employee site with an estimated annual revenue of $114M. This role drives plant performance through operational excellence, disciplined execution of the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS), and development of a high-performing leadership team.
This position is accountable for achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG) objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, associate engagement, accountability, and customer focus. The Senior Plant Manager partners with cross-functional leaders to execute site strategy, develop organizational capability, and deliver sustainable business results.
The Senior Manager, Plant Manager reports directly to the Senior Director, Operations for the Commercial Gearing Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Own full site P&L responsibility, including budgeting and demonstrating strong understanding of cost structure, margins, ROI, and operational levers.
Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG) objectives.
Drive operational excellence through the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS), Lean principles, and continuous improvement.
Evaluate and prioritize capital investments to support growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team while establishing strong succession plans.
Deliver financial commitments through productivity, inventory, cost reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and customer focus.
Reinforce a strong say/do culture by delivering on commitments and holding leaders accountable for results.
Lead timely structured problem-solving and execution to achieve sustainable operational results.
Partner cross-functionally to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness.
Champion Regal Rexnord Core Values while developing future leaders and organizational capability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Advanced degree is desired.
Minimum 8 years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, including responsibility for Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Safety, Engineering, and/or Materials Management.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing salaried and hourly associates in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve sustainable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG) performance.
Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, productivity initiatives, inventory, and cost reduction programs.
Working knowledge of Regal Rexnord Business System (or similar) principles and tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, Flow, 6S, and structured problem solving.
Demonstrated strategic mindset with the ability to develop business cases that support key strategies, including product 80/20, ERP systems, value stream mapping, process improvement, and P&L impact.
Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while driving accountability, engagement, and succession planning in a changing environment.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and project management skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead through change, drive execution, and deliver results in a fast-paced, diverse product portfolio manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
Work Type: Onsite -This role follows an Onsite Work Schedule and requires working from your designated Regal Rexnord office on a full‑time basis.
