What you'll do

  • Work with leadership to develop marketing messaging and materials that translate a complex multimodal data and AI platform into compelling narratives for life sciences and AI developer audiences
  • Own and manage a content calendar spanning LinkedIn, blog articles, scientific communications, sales collateral, and demo materials, and help develop and amplify our leadership team's thought leadership voice
  • Own Dandelion's presence at industry conferences and life sciences events — from applications and selection through logistics, on-the-ground execution, and follow-up — and coordinate PR opportunities, media pitches, and speaker submissions
  • Work with Data and Sales teams to translate insights from internal research and external scientific findings into marketable content
  • Support executive-facing engagements — scheduling dinners, coordinating meetings, and managing the logistics that come with representing Dandelion in front of high-value stakeholders

What they're looking for

  • Track record of owning marketing execution end-to-end, with minimal need for direction or oversight
  • Comfortable working directly with senior/executive stakeholders, including the operational and hospitality details that come with it
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness — able to navigate ambiguity, wear multiple hats, and figure out what's needed without a script
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred; genuine curiosity and willingness to learn the space quickly are just as important
  • AI-native: you use AI tools as a core part of your workflow, not an experiment
  • Strong organizational skills — you can own a marketing calendar without losing threads

Nice to have

  • Life sciences, pharma, or biotech marketing experience
  • Startup or early-stage company experience

Full description from employer

Our Team

Dandelion Health was founded in 2020 by experts in health tech, hospital systems, academia, and clinical AI. We are building the world’s largest AI training and clinical development platform. Today, we pride ourselves on our ability to make data access as easy as possible for AI developers, pharma, and medical devices, while raising the bar for patient safety and data quality. Tomorrow, we will be the place where any healthcare organization can go to build a responsible clinical AI product. Our culture is all about learning from data and improving, so we can help our clients improve health through AI. Meet the rest of our team here.

Our Data

We partner with health systems to safely and ethically make their de-identified patient data available to AI developers. Currently, the data is acquired from Sharp HealthCare, Sanford Health, and Texas Health Resources – with two additional U.S. health systems joining soon.

We have clinical data dating back to July 1, 2016. This data represents over 10 million patients and includes but is not limited to:

  • Structured data (e.g., 100% of the EMR, including some claims)

  • Unstructured text (e.g., clinical notes, radiology reports)

  • Images (e.g., DICOM, pathology)

  • Video

  • Waveforms

  • Continuous streaming monitoring data

Your Role

This is Dandelion's first dedicated marketing hire. Our space sits at the intersection of clinical AI, real-world data, and life sciences — it's deeply technical, high-impact, and full of stories waiting to be told. You'll be playing a large role in building our marketing engine from the ground up — owning execution across content, product launches, field presence, and thought leadership, and partnering closely with our leadership team to set the broader direction and strategy for the function.

You'll work closely with our C-level team, translating their vision and Dandelion's mission into content and materials that resonate with pharma, biotech, and life sciences audiences — while also supporting the operational side of executive engagement, from event logistics to the kind of polish and professionalism that comes with representing the company at the highest level.

Day to day responsibilities include coordinating the marketing calendar, running the content operation, managing events and conference presence, and supporting product launches as our use-case portfolio expands.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of our marketing function and our brand as we scale. This is a function with ample green space to build: we’re looking for someone energized by experimentation, focused on driving results, who pairs a strong perspective with curiosity and collaboration, and who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up.

If you're a strong storyteller and communicator, organized, resourceful, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and excited to figure things out without a script, this could be the role for you.

  • Strong organizational skills — you can own a marketing calendar without losing threads

Preferred

  • Life sciences, pharma, or biotech marketing experience

  • Startup or early-stage company experience

Team Benefits

  • Remote work and flexible hours. Availability needed for meetings, which we try to keep to a healthy minimum

  • Complete wellness benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, PTO, sick days and more. Ask for details

  • Professional development days to build your skills

  • Collegial work environment

  • Academic bent towards inquiry and problem solving but start-up speed and flexibility

  • Great balance of focus time to work on projects but easy to access team members to discuss issues and work collaboratively

  • Dandelion is a mission-driven company that is focused on improving patient care
