What you'll do

- Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a tooling design, fixture design, or mechanical design environment
- Strong CAD design experience (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
- Excellent understanding of GD&T and technical drawing standards
- Experience developing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles and fabrication processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment design.
Your new role
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of custom production tooling, fixtures, jigs, and gauges used within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, and New Product Development teams, you will support the transition of products from development into full-scale production while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of custom production tooling, fixtures, jigs, and gauges used within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
