What you'll do
- Lead mining engineering and technical support for the Wambo Tailings Rehabilitation Projects.

- Liaise with the open cut mine operator to coordinate mine waste material supply and logistics.

- Ensure compliance with Peabody’s safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Travel to other Peabody sites as required to support mining and infrastructure initiatives.

About the roleThe Senior Mining Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Wambo Tailings Rehabilitation Project while providing support for broader mining and infrastructure initiatives across Peabody’s Australian operations as required. This role involves technical planning, design, engaging geotechnical consultants and coordination, with a strong emphasis on design, sequencing, and effective stakeholder engagement.
