  • Build, manage and maintain a high-quality pipeline of prospective partners through proactive outbound activity, networking, referrals and market engagement
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify high-value partnership opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through commercial negotiation, contracting and successful onboarding
  • Build compelling commercial propositions that create value for Fiserv and our partners
  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure long-term strategic partnerships
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify new routes to market and emerging opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Marketing and Operations to support a seamless onboarding experience
  • Champion new partnership opportunities internally and align stakeholders to accelerate revenue generation
  • Monitor partner performance during onboarding and identify opportunities to maximise early success and future growth
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity and evolving customer needs
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of partner acquisition strategies, sales processes and channel initiatives
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • Proven history of consistently exceeding new business sales targets
  • Demonstrated success identifying, negotiating and winning strategic partnerships
  • Experience building and managing a healthy new business pipeline
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience selling within payments, fintech, SaaS or technology through partner sales channels
  • Knowledge of channel ecosystems including ISOs, ISVs, PayFacs and referral partnerships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • A resilient, proactive and results-driven approach with a passion for winning new business
  • High levels of integrity, accountability and collaboration

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in payments, fintech or financial services
  • Experience working with structured partner programmes and performance frameworks
  • An existing network within the UK payments ecosystem
  • Experience building strategic go-to-market partnerships
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret performance metrics and trends
  • Experience contributing to change initiatives or scaling partner programmes

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
