Senior Planning and Control Engineer

4. Resource Planning & AllocationAlign manpower, materials, and equipment resources with project schedules.Maintain integrated resource planning systems.Ensure optimal resource utilization across project phases.5. Cost Control SupportAssist in cost monitoring and budget tracking activities.Identify cost trends and potential overruns.Support the evaluation and processing of contractor claims and change orders.6. Stakeholder CoordinationCoordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.Provide regular updates on schedule performance and risks.Facilitate alignment between planning, engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.7. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports.Generate S-curves, histograms, earned value analysis (EVA), and critical path reports.Maintain proper documentation of schedule revisions and approvals.8. Contractor Planning OversightReview and validate contractor planning packages and schedules.Monitor contractor performance against contractual requirements.Ensure compliance with planning standards and contractual timelines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry.Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.Knowledge of scheduling techniques, critical path method (CPM), and earned value management (EVM).Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.Core CompetenciesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership and coordination abilities.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.High attention to detail with a proactive approach.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
