Full description from employer

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Planning Officer for a 6-month contract in Staffordshire, paying £40-£50 per hour.
The role would suit a Senior Planner with strong Development Management experience, particularly across Heritage, planning backlogs and Planning Committee.
Key requirements:
  • Senior-level Development Management experience
  • Strong Heritage / Listed Buildings experience
  • Experience managing and clearing planning backlogs
  • Planning Committee experience
  • Appeals experience - please confirm the level and type of appeals you have handled
  • Experience with listed buildings, retrospective applications, flats and smaller-scale applications
The details:
  • £40-£50 per hour
  • 6-month contract
  • Start within 1-2 weeks
  • Minimum 1 day per week onsite
  • Additional attendance may be required for site visits and Planning Committee
