Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. Platform Engineering builds and operates the core engineering platform that enables product teams across FBG to ship reliably, safely, and quickly. The team owns foundational AWS infrastructure and ingress, Terraform infrastructure-as-code and change management, GitHub and CI/CD governance, Datadog-based observability, and developer tooling — operating with a product-first mindset that treats developers as customers.
About the Role
Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This role will sit in either our Runtime/Compute or the Developer Experience/CI-CD squad.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will work across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD systems, and internal developer tooling. You will work closely with Product Engineering, Security, Infrastructure IT, and other platform teams to build, enhance, and support our developer platform. You will help define standards and best practices, and act as a force multiplier for engineering teams by improving reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
Responsibilities
