Senior Producer - Creative and Content (Content - Fiction), Colors

About this role
1. Content Development & Creative Supervision
- Oversee creative execution of assigned fiction shows from development to telecast.
- Conduct detailed, minute-by-minute episode analysis post-launch to assess pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to Production Houses (PHs) to strengthen narrative flow, content quality, and viewer retention.
- Ensure strong segments, precaps, and upcoming content to maintain appointment viewing.
- Regularly contribute production-friendly script, edit, and storytelling ideas across shows.
- Review original versions of acquired shows and manage episode acquisition and creative adaptation.
- Oversee dubbing, editing, and packaging of regional content for Hindi markets, ensuring quality and consistency.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration (OAP, PR & Marketing)
- Generate creative ideas for promos, PR initiatives, digital promotions, break bumpers, and on-air packaging.
- Actively contribute to promo execution, including inputs on styling, costumes, visuals, and overall presentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of promos through effective coordination with marketing, on-air promotions, digital, and external vendors.
- Play a key role in launch planning and execution and maintain constant communication with internal teams during launch phases to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Support sustained promotional momentum through continuous content updates and creative briefings.
5. Production House & Set Coordination
- Maintain strong working relationships with Production Houses to ensure adherence to timelines and creative expectations.
- Conduct regular visits to sets and edit rooms to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
- Organize story and screenplay meetings with PHs to align creative vision.
- Manage artist coordination professionally to avoid delays in shoots and promotional activities.
- Be present on set for key shoots and promos to ensure quality and smooth execution.
7. Competitive Tracking & Performance Focus
- Track ongoing competition and internal shows to identify content strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Edit and package promos highlighting key narrative moments to drive tune-in and improve GRPs, particularly in non-prime slots.
- Contribute creatively to improving performance and viewership across assigned time bands.

Experience & Background
- Proven track record of managing show launches, ongoing fiction properties, and promotional campaigns
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Film & Television Production, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
