About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Designer to create intuitive, high-quality experiences for users discovering market opportunities, analysing assets, and trading across Web3 products.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Content, and other design teams to solve complex problems in a fast-moving environment. Crypto experience is a plus, but strong design thinking, product judgment, and the ability to learn quickly are more important.

Depending on team needs and your interests, your work may focus on:

OKX Wallet — shaping a leading self-custody wallet experience and making asset management, dApp discovery, swaps, and cross-chain interactions seamless, intuitive, and trustworthy.
OKX.AI — exploring the frontier of AI and Web3 by building an onchain Agent marketplace where Agents can discover work, collaborate, transact, and build reputation, with the ambition of enabling one person and one Agent to build a million-dollar company.
X Layer — growing OKX’s Layer 2 ecosystem by designing DeFi products and new onchain experiences that attract users, builders, and liquidity.
DEX Market — helping customers discover and understand opportunities across onchain markets, including emerging tokens, memes, and real-world assets.
Onchain Trading — creating fast, intuitive, and trustworthy trading experiences across market discovery, execution, and position management.
Growth — improving acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and cross-product discovery through growth campaigns and ecosystem features such as Boost and Outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own the end-to-end design process, from problem definition and user flows to high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and final delivery.
Turn complex product and business requirements into clear, intuitive user experiences.
Work closely with Product and Engineering to evaluate trade-offs and make well-reasoned design decisions.
Use research, data, user feedback, and product context to validate and improve solutions.
Contribute to product discussions by identifying underlying user problems, challenging assumptions, and proposing better approaches.
Maintain a high standard of design quality while working effectively under tight timelines and changing priorities.
Design for a global user base across different markets, languages, and levels of Web3 experience.

What We Look For In You

5+ years of experience in Product Design
Strong design thinking and problem-solving ability, with a portfolio that clearly demonstrates how you frame problems, explore options, make decisions, and measure outcomes.
Ability to remain structured and make sound design decisions in complex, ambiguous, and high-pressure situations.
Proficiency with AI tools and the ability to apply them effectively throughout the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping, validation, and delivery.
Strong ownership, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain and defend design decisions in both English and Chinese.
Experience collaborating effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers.
Curiosity, ambition, and a genuine interest in staying current with developments in crypto, AI, and the wider design industry.

Nice to Haves

Experience designing crypto, fintech, investment, trading, wallet, or other data-intensive products.
Familiarity with Web3 wallets, DApps, meme trading, token discovery, swaps, or on-chain products.
Strong UI and visual design craft, with close attention to interaction details and overall product quality.
Strong product sense and the ability to connect individual features with broader product goals and user journeys.
Experience designing and shipping products for a global audience.
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, or data-informed design validation.
