Senior Product Manager - Platform

Role: Senior Product Manager – Platform Strategy & Architecture

About the Role: 

We are looking for a visionary and deeply technical Senior Product Manager to own the strategic evolution of Keka’s core platform. This is a pivotal leadership role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and platform architecture, shaping the foundation that will power our growth into a global enterprise leader.

As Keka expands to serve the world's most demanding enterprise customers, our platform must evolve to support greater scale, extensibility, and third-party integrations. You will be responsible for defining what our next-generation platform architecture looks like. Your core mission will be to identify, justify, and lead strategic investments in our platform—determining which core capabilities should be enhanced, built out as independent services, or integrated from partners to maximize business impact.

You will be a "product manager for the business's technical future," partnering with C-level leadership and our most senior engineers to build the business case for architectural change and then leading the charge to execute it.

 ● Platform Vision & Strategy: Own the product vision for the future of Keka's platform. Develop a long-term roadmap that aligns architectural investments with our company's strategic goals for enterprise and ecosystem growth.

 ● Business Case Development: Lead the discovery and analysis to determine the ROI of strategic platform initiatives. Build data-driven cases to justify when and why we should invest in decoupling capabilities into modular, API-first services

● Core Services Product Management: Where strategically necessary, lead the 0-to-1 product development for new, independent platform services (e.g., for Permissions, Identity, or Communications).

● API Governance & Developer Experience: Champion a world-class, API-first culture. Establish the design standards and developer experience that will enable both internal teams and external partners to build on our platform

● Phased Execution: For approved initiatives, develop pragmatic, phased roadmaps that deliver incremental value and evolve our architecture without disrupting our existing business.

● Executive Influence: Act as the primary bridge between engineering, product, and business leadership, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear business implications and strategic recommendations.

● Highest Technical Impact: Your decisions will directly shape the scalability, reliability, and extensibility of Keka for the next decade.

● Executive Partnership: This role has direct visibility and influence with the CTO and CPO, working with them to shape our most critical long-term technical investments.

● 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years in a deeply technical, backend-focused platform or architectural role.

● Proven success in leading strategic platform initiatives. You have experience building business cases for significant technical investments (e.g., build vs. buy, platform migrations, or launching major new services) and seeing them through to execution

● Expert-level understanding of API design, distributed systems, and the trade-offs of different architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven)

● Exceptional business acumen. You are as comfortable building a financial model for ROI as you are debating an API design with a principal engineer

● A master of influence and stakeholder management, with the ability to create alignment from the engineering team to the C-suite.
