Senior Project Manager/ Director - Project Services Hub

What you’ll do

As a Project Manager in our Project Services Hub team based in Perth, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.  You will:

  • Join our Project Services Hub based in Perth, managing projects across diverse sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted partner to ensure project success.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinating specialists and subconsultants to deliver high-impact results.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets and resource allocation.

  • Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements throughout project lifecycles.

  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth and success of the business.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven track record delivering large, complex projects, including construction stage experience.

  • A sound understanding of project management principles, controls, and governance.

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, construction management or related fields.

  • Prior consulting experience within Engineering or Project Management consultancies, Head Contractor, Construction Management or multinational advisory and delivery organisations is highly regarded.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, managing competing priorities effectively.

  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams to deliver high quality outcomes.

  • Membership or certification with professional bodies such as AIPM or Engineers Australia is encouraged.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management within construction, infrastructure, or resources sectors.

For Defence projects you must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). website https://www1.defence.gov.au/security/clearances. If successful, Aurecon will assist with your application, including application fees. Further details are available via the AGSVA Defence related project work is preferable but not required.
