Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Senior Project Manager, Integrated Project Services (IPS)

The Senior Project Manager, Integrated Project Services plays a critical leadership role in driving the successful delivery of a complex capital portfolio through integrated project controls, governance, performance management, and continuous improvement. 

This highly visible role serves as a strategic partner to Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) leadership, ensuring projects are planned, executed, monitored, and closed in alignment with organizational objectives. The position champions an integrated project delivery approach by connecting scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, and stakeholder requirements to drive informed decision-making and predictable project outcomes. 

Role Overview 

• Lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the PD&C Capital Project Delivery Framework across a diverse capital portfolio. 

• Serve as the organization's senior subject matter expert for integrated project controls, governance, project delivery standards, and lifecycle management practices. 

• Provide portfolio-level oversight of project performance, ensuring alignment with approved scope, budget, schedule, cash flow, risk management, procurement, and governance requirements. 

• Partner with project managers, design teams, contractors, consultants, Finance, and Procurement to drive integrated planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities. 

• Direct portfolio-wide estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management processes to improve financial accuracy and predictability. 

• Oversee schedule development, progress measurement, milestone tracking, critical path analysis, and recovery planning across multiple concurrent projects. 

• Develop and deliver executive-level dashboards, performance reports, portfolio analyses, and governance presentations that support strategic decision-making. 

• Lead project controls throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, activation, occupancy, turnover, and closeout. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, training programs, and adoption of standardized tools, processes, and integrated project delivery best practices.

Key Qualifications 

• 10+ years of progressive experience in capital project delivery, integrated project services, project controls, construction program management, or PMO leadership. 

• Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder capital programs within healthcare, higher education, research, life sciences, or similarly complex institutional environments. 

• Proven experience developing, implementing, and governing project delivery frameworks, project controls methodologies, and portfolio management standards. 

• Professional certification preferred, including PMP, CCM, AACE, PSP, EVP, LEED, WELL, or equivalent industry credentials. 

• Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 and enterprise project portfolio management, scheduling, cost management, reporting, and data visualization platforms. 

Core Skills 

• Expertise in integrating scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, and change management controls throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate estimates, forecasts, trends, variances, and anticipated final project costs. 

• Ability to influence, coach, and guide project teams while fostering accountability and adoption without direct authority. 

• Executive-level communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and decision-support capabilities. 

• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday 

• Location: Hybrid: 3-4 days a week on site; 885 Third Avenue, New York, NY 

• Reporting To: Director, Design and Construction

Pay Range: $152,400.00 - $251,600.00
