What you'll do
- Assurer la gestion de projets stratégiques internationaux dans les domaines du photovoltaïque et des systèmes de stockage d'énergie par batteries (BESS). Les clients comprennent notamment des institutions financières internationales (AFD, KfW, Banque mondiale, BERD, BEI, etc.), des compagnies nationales d'électricité ainsi que d'importants clients privés (industriels, développeurs de projets, etc.).
- Diriger les études de faisabilité de systèmes complexes de production d'énergie : dimensionnement et optimisation des systèmes, estimation des CAPEX et OPEX, conception préliminaire et détaillée, études de raccordement réseau MT/HT, études de stabilité (PSS®E, PowerFactory), schémas directeurs énergétiques (PLEXOS, PyPSA), etc. Prendre également la responsabilité de missions de Due Diligence Technique (TDD), de Conseil technique des bailleurs de fonds (LTA), de Conseil technique en transactions.
- Piloter les phases d'exécution des projets : préparation des dossiers d'appel d'offres, évaluation des offres EPC/IPP, validation des études d'exécution avant construction et supervision des phases de construction, mise en service et exploitation-maintenance.
- Assurer l'interface avec les fournisseurs, les contractants EPC/IPP et les clients, tout en suivant les évolutions technologiques, les tendances du marché, les nouveaux produits, les normes et les modèles de simulation.
- Contribuer à la standardisation des processus de travail afin d'améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle et la qualité des prestations.
- Participer au développement des activités internationales à travers la préparation d'offres techniques et commerciales et soutenir les initiatives de développement commercial.
What they're looking for
- Diplôme d'ingénieur ou formation équivalente en énergie, génie électrique ou domaine similaire, avec une spécialisation en énergies renouvelables, photovoltaïque ou systèmes de stockage d'énergie (BESS).
- Minimum 10 ans d'expérience dans les projets photovoltaïques et systèmes de stockage à grande échelle, associée à de solides compétences en gestion de projet et en ingénierie.
- Maîtrise des logiciels du secteur énergétique tels que PVSyst, HOMER PRO et/ou des logiciels de simulation de réseaux électriques (PowerFactory, PSS®E).
- Bonne compréhension des aspects techniques des contrats PPA et EPC, notamment en matière de performance, de pénalités contractuelles et de risques contractuels.
- Excellentes capacités rédactionnelles.
- Très bonne maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral.

- Une expérience dans l'éolien et l'hydrogène vert constitue un atout.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager Photovoltaic & Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), (M/F/D)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will operate as a Senior Project Manager - Photovoltaic & Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for strategic projects worldwide. Your clients will include International Finance Institutions (AFD, KfW, World Bank, EBRD, EIB, etc.), national power utilities, major private clients (industrial, project developers, etc.).
During development phase of the projects, you will lead Feasibility studies of complex power plant systems including system sizing / optimization, CAPEX and OPEX estimation, conceptual / detail design and layout, grid studies (PSS/E, Power Factory), energy master plan studies (PLEXOS, PyPSA), etc. Your activities could also include to lead TDD, LTA as well as Technical Transaction Advisor projects.
During implementation phase, you will lead the tender design, evaluation of EPC/IPP offers, reviewing and validating the executive design before construction (design vetting). Your will also be overseeing the supervision of the construction, commissioning and O&M phase.
As an interface between suppliers, IPP / EPC contractors and clients you keep up to date with and pass on market trends, technology development, new products, standards and simulation models.
Your engineering skills will contribute to the standardization of work processes with the goal of enhancing efficiency and quality.
You will also support the development of our international activities by preparing proposals and supporting business development initiatives.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduated in the field of energy, electrical engineering or similar with a focus on Renewable Energies / Photovoltaics / Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
At least 10 years of experience in large scale photovoltaic & battery systems with robust project management and engineering skills. Expertise in Wind and Green Hydrogen projects would be a plus.
Experience with Energy software such as PVSyst, HOMER PRO, and/or Power system Software (Power Factory, PSS/E) is required.
Understanding of technical aspects of PPA and EPC contracts regarding performance and penalties is required.
Excellent writing skills
Very good written and spoken skills in English and in French.
