The Physical Security Operations Support Specialist will support the day-to-day delivery of the physical security program for a global video gaming company, with a primary focus on Korea and wider APAC operations. Based in Seoul, this role will act as a local and regional point of contact for physical security matters, supporting office security operations, vendor coordination, security systems administration, incident response, and event security planning.

 

This role, based in Seoul, Korea, supports physical security operations across Korean offices, with additional support extended to APAC sites and regional projects, including Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei, Sydney, and Melbourne.The role reports to regional Physical Security leadership in London and works closely with Workplace, IT, Health and Safety, local site teams, and external security vendors to deliver physical security services consistently, professionally, and in line with global standards.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Administer, maintain, and support physical security technology across assigned sites, including access control, video management, badging, visitor management, intrusion detection, and related security systems.
  • Troubleshoot user, application, network, and hardware issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure service providers deliver timely and effective resolutions.
  • Manage and support the security technology break-fix lifecycle.
  • Provide initial triage and troubleshooting for access control, badging, video surveillance, and other physical security system faults reported by Workplace, IT, site teams, employees, or the global security operations center.
  • Raise, manage, and track vendor tickets for unresolved equipment, software, or system faults that require third-party support.
  • Maintain accurate records of system issues, service tickets, vendor actions, and resolution updates.
  • Coordinate quotes and scopes of work for security equipment additions, changes, removals, repairs, and decommissioning, ensuring accuracy, value, and alignment with standards.
  • Support local administrators and site teams with access control processes, system use, and day-to-day security technology administration.
  • Attend relevant security, Workplace, IT, and project meetings, providing clear updates, notes, actions, and escalation points.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of site security procedures, post orders, and operating guidance for security officers and local response teams.
  • Partner with Workplace managers and site leaders to support appropriate guard force coverage, service levels, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with security providers, landlords, and local vendors to monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain agreed service standards.
  • Provide responsive operational support during incidents, urgent security matters, office changes, events, and business-critical activities.
  • Work with Global Security and Safety, Workplace, IT, HR, and Health and Safety stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support physical security planning and delivery for employee events, executive visits, gaming activations, launches, and other business activities.
  • Assist the global security operations center with incident intake, information gathering, local coordination, and follow-up actions, when required.
  • Support incident response, emergency preparedness, and crisis management activity in coordination with regional leadership and local stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate site security records, vendor contact lists, asset information, emergency contacts, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Prefer bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience in corporate physical security, security operations, risk management, law enforcement, military, or a related operational security environment. Experience working with vendors, landlords, Workplace teams, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in a corporate environment. Working knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, video management, badging, visitor management, intrusion detection, and related hardware and software.

 

  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced creative and technology-led environment.
  • Based in Seoul, Korea, with the ability and willingness to travel within Korea, across APAC, and internationally when required.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Korean and English.
  • Ability to provide out-of-hours support for urgent incidents, events, or business-critical security requirements.
