Senior QA Engineer, Fixed Term - Toronto

This is a 3 month fixed term salaried contract, located in Ontario Canada. Preferably in Toronto.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans 
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, Jmeter, and Postman
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality 
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle 
• Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes 
• Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance

What You Bring:

• Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira 
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
• Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts
• Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing
• Familiarity with source/version control such as Git
• Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $45 hourly. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
