Senior Quality Analyst (2 Months Contract)

As a Sr. Quality Analyst at Horizontal key responsibilities start from understanding requirements till the final delivery of the end project. Proactive communication, active participation in all meetings and discussions, appropriate test planning and delivery of required documents are the key areas to focus on. The candidate applying for this role is expected to have 5 - 8 years of Manual Testing experience. Desirably in Web Testing.  

What you’ll do:   

In addition to the routine testing activities that a Quality Analyst would do  

• understand the scope of work and craft comprehensive test strategy / plan documents  

• write robust test cases, perform test executions, and create test and bug reports  

• contribute (not only participate) in Scrum / Sprint ceremonies and provide inputs from QA perspective  

• follow industry best practices and encourage other team members to do so   

• be a team player and step up as and when needed to help the team  

• attend and contribute to the stakeholder meetings to collect as well as showcase information of the work done  

Who you are:   

• Having decent knowledge and experience on salient Sitecore features  

• Worked on widely used domains or understand the same, if not worked  

• Experienced in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test case and other deliverables  

• Experienced in test estimation  

• Experienced on all commonly used Black box testing techniques  

• Experienced in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum development processes  

• Experienced in use of a Test Management System like TestRail, Zephyr, QMetry, qTest etc.  

• Experienced in use of a Ticketing system like Jira and document / information management tool like Confluence  

What you bring:  

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineer, or a related subject preferred 

• Proven work experience in Software Testing 5 to 8 years  

• Experience or Knowledge on Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) or any CMS
