Help shape the quality foundations of one of the UK's most ambitious aerospace and defence programmes.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer within GCAP, you will influence product integrity, drive quality performance across complex programmes, and ensure robust quality practices are embedded from concept through to delivery.

This role is to be based from our Luton site, with travel to Edinburgh, Bristol and Southampton when needed. Minimum of 3 days per week needed onsite.

What you’ll bring as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

• Support the development and deployment of quality plans, processes and assurance activities across the programme lifecycle.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CA) activities to improve product and process performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and programme teams to proactively improve processes & procedures.
• Support internal and external audits, customer reviews and programme quality reporting.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Quality tools and techniques, including Root Cause Corrective Action, Process Mapping, First Article Inspection (FAI).
• We will also consider Quality assurance engineers not at senior level and have strong quality fundamentals.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC).
