With an established reputation for delivering complex projects and building long-term client relationships, they continue to secure major frameworks and commissions within the healthcare sector. Due to sustained growth, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Sheffield office and support the successful delivery of a growing project portfolio.   Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Sheffield, you will be responsible for the following: Managing the commercial delivery of healthcare construction projects from inception through to completion. Preparing and reviewing cost plans, estimates, budgets and tender documentation. Undertaking procurement activities and advising clients on procurement strategies. Supporting contract administration and managing post-contract cost control processes. Monitoring project expenditure and reporting on cost performance throughout project lifecycles. Liaising directly with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders. Providing mentorship and support to junior quantity surveying team members. Identifying and managing project risks, opportunities and value engineering initiatives. Ensuring projects are delivered in line with client objectives, budget requirements and programme targets. Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships.   Person The successful candidate for the Senior Quantity Surveyor role will be able to demonstrate the following attributes: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a related discipline. MRICS Chartered status or working towards chartership. Proven experience working within a construction consultancy or professional services environment. Experience delivering healthcare projects is desirable, although candidates from other sectors will also be considered. Strong understanding of pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services. Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge. Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. A proactive, client-focused approach to project delivery.
