Amentum is a key delivery partner within the Decommissioning and Nuclear Waste Partners (DNWP) Framework, a major Sellafield programme worth up to £4.6 billion and running for up to 15 years. The framework is focused on safely accelerating decommissioning, remediation and high hazard risk reduction across one of the most complex nuclear sites in the world.

Our nuclear team supports the front end design, engineering, technical leadership and delivery expertise required across the DNWP portfolio. We are looking for individuals with high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to who can work collaboratively, embrace new challenges and contribute to the mission of safely and efficiently delivering Sellafield’s decommissioning and nuclear waste objectives.

You'll provide expert Senior Quantity Surveying support across nuclear decommissioning projects, ensuring robust cost management, contract administration, and commercial governance. The role is critical in supporting safe, compliant and cost-effective delivery of complex decommissioning programmes.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you would be responsible for supporting the Principle Commercial Manager(s) and programme leads in delivering the Contract Management Plans and maintaining the relationship with the Client, Contractors/Subcontractors, Suppliers or Service Providers for the relevant contracts. This would include the administration of the contract Risk Register, attending Risk Reduction and other Meetings, managing the Early Warning Notice and Compensation Event processes and CEMAR administration. All contracts will be managed in accordance with Amentum Management System and procedures for contract management. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance to procedures and Contract Terms and Conditions to secure delivery with certainty. Key Responsibilities:
