The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from subcontract procurement through to final account, playing a key role in the commercial success of the business. This is a hands-on position suited to an individual who enjoys being closely involved in project delivery, building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams, while taking responsibility for commercial decision-making throughout the project life cycle. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will have the opportunity to influence both operational and commercial outcomes across a diverse range of construction projects.

• Manage projects commercially from procurement through to final account.
• Prepare interim valuations, variations, cost reports, and final accounts.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
• Attend site progress and commercial meetings with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and produce regular CVRs and commercial reports.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Ensure accurate contract administration and cost control.
• Support project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5-10 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing projects from procurement through to final account.
• Excellent measurement and quantification skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Buildsoft, and Cubit.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload.
