What you'll do
- Develop and implement a proactive sales strategy for the Chinese market to achieve revenue and overall business objectives for both hotels.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from Chinese travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, corporate accounts, MICE agencies, luxury travel networks and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, buyers and influencers within the Chinese travel trade and corporate market.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, site inspections, trade appointments, roadshows and sales missions in Thailand and key Chinese markets.
- Develop account plans for key existing and potential accounts, including revenue potential, production history, business opportunities and action plans.
- Manage and grow key accounts while continuously prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, customer behavior and distribution developments within the Chinese market and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue, Reservations, Front Office, Events and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and client requirements.
- Identify opportunities within the MICE and group segment, including corporate meetings, incentives, conferences and events from Chinese clients.
- Conduct regular market and account analysis and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Develop strong relationships with Chinese-speaking partners, including travel agencies, DMCs, OTA/wholesale partners, corporations and luxury travel advisors.
- Ensure all sales activities are aligned with the positioning and commercial objectives of Anantara and Avani+.
