Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and observability to join our Platform Engineering team in Copenhagen. This role involves owning and maintaining critical pieces of our internal platform, while taking part in modernizing and optimizing for our next stage of growth. You will join a team that sets the standard for how engineering is done at Keepit. Ownership, a systematic approach to reliability, good communication, and strong initiative are essential for this role.

You will:

• Participate in the daily operation of our existing stack

• Evolve and take part in designing our next generation infrastructure setup

• Define and enforce reliability standards, runbooks, and operational best practices across the platform

• Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks before they become incidents

• Champion automation; if something is done twice, it should be scripted the third time

About you

Must-haves:

• 5+ years in a Site Reliability, Platform, or DevOps Engineering role

• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including storage (Rook-Ceph or equivalent)

• Solid Linux fundamentals

• Proactive mindset; you spot gaps before they become incidents

• Clear communicator; you can translate infrastructure decisions for engineers who don’t live in a terminal
  

Nice-to-haves:

• Direct experience with the Grafana LGTM stack (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Alloy)

• Experience with managing ProxMox or similar virtualization environments

• Familiarity with GitOps tooling (Argo CD, Flux, or similar)

• Experience with Nginx ingress, ISTIO or similar ingress/reverse proxy setups
