Senior Social Worker – Adult Review

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker - Adult Review Team for its client’s Adult Review Team based in Dudley. This is a full-time agency role offering £31.97 per hour and providing an opportunity to lead complex adult social care interventions, support colleagues through professional guidance, and promote strengths-based practice that enables adults to live independently within their communities.

Your responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of adults with significant care, support, and safeguarding needs.
• Complete reviews, assessments, and interventions using strengths-based and enabling approaches.
• Lead safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act and Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
• Provide mentoring, guidance, and reflective support to social workers, ASYEs, and students.
• Chair review meetings and contribute to service decision-making and development.
• Deputise for Team Managers when required.
• Apply key legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, and Human Rights Act.
• Develop and review person-centred support plans that promote independence and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with carers, health professionals, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case records, reports, and statutory documentation.

What we are looking for

• Social Work qualification (BA, MA, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Significant post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care.
• Strong safeguarding experience and ability to manage complex cases.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice frameworks.
• Experience providing leadership, supervision, or mentoring support.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
