Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: India

Sr Software Engineer plays a critical role in completing our mission every day by ensuring that Pampered Chef’s software services and are available.

• Contribute to team reducing the average ticket cycle time in Progress to Resolved 
• Contribute to team delivering more business value 
• Work with team to deliver at 90% or more story completion in a sprint  
• Oversees daily work flow and projects for team.
• Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.
• Assists management with development of results oriented processes and project management.
• Initiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels. 
• Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• MEAN or MERN stack 
• Angular preferred (or alternatively React, Vue) 
• Node.js 
• JavaScript / Typescript (ES 2017+) 
• Passion for development and clean code 
• eCommerce 
• AWS and Microservices 
• Java 
• Relational database experience 
• CI/CD

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7-10 years  in Building enterprise web applications leveraging object oriented/functional programming concepts. 
• Experience working with e-commerce/consumer websites a strong plus. In addition to the above the following experience is required:
• Internal candidates:  Minimum 1 years as a highly performing Mouser MEAN stack or similar frontend framework such as REACT or Designing and building APIs using REST/JSON  or a higher-level position.
• External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a  MEAN stack or similar frontend framework such as REACT or Designing and building APIs using REST/JSON   or a higher-level position.
