Senior Software Engineer

The Role

As a Software Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience, youu2019ll work on our in-house package, 'Miles,' an ERP software for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. This end-to-end solution encompasses front, mid, and back-office functions that can be extensively customized to the customersu2019 needs through configuration and custom development.

Youu2019ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes other developers, business consultants, and testers, covering our end-to-end business flow. You can rely on a broad base of knowledge and expertise.

Every team in Sofico works in an agile way, including scrum, daily stand-ups, and backlog refinement. Additionally, youu2019ll be joining our Java community, which connects all the Software Engineers within Sofico worldwide to share best practices, code, tips, and tricks.

This position, based in Sydney, offers a hybrid work model: three days in-office and two days remote.

• Experience spanning over 15 years

• Expertise as either a Full Stack Developer or specialized in Back End development
n
• Proficiency in Java 17, Java EE 7, SQL/JPA, Hibernate
n
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology

• Exposure to Automotive, Finance, or Leasing industries
n
• Experience in Monolithic and Microservices architecture
n
• Significance in constructing and deploying solutions, both internally and for clients
n
• Engagement in enhancing current applications, developing new modules, or executing customization projects for clients
n
• Demonstration of adeptly resolving complex problems in a systematic manner, with project-specific details provided in your application
n
• Strong communication skills, including client interaction
n
• Fluency in English, given our international and multicultural environment
