Full description from employer
Zoox is developing state-of-the-art autonomous vehicle software for our purpose-built robotaxi. We believe that developing this end-to-end product will not only help us scale our services but will also result in a superior customer experience.
In this role, you will own the continuous integration systems that every software engineer at Zoox depends on. More than a thousand engineers depend on it every day, running thousands of CI builds every weekday against one of the largest monorepos in the industry. Our goal is to run them fast, reliably, and cost-efficiently as both the codebase and the organization grow. You will work cross-functionally with various software teams as a force multiplier, finding where the build is slow or wasteful and fixing it at the platform level. This is a critical role to squash inefficiencies in our development process, improve the development experience for everyone in the software organization, and ultimately help us scale our autonomous vehicle fleet to more riders and more cities.
