Job Description

Hiring Team Description:

Securing data is core to building trust with our members and for LinkedIn's success. SFE  team builds highly reliable and scalable services and developer-friendly infrastructure that enable engineering teams across the company to create and integrate secure features and proactively protect our members' data.

The SPM team works within SFE org and takes on Infrastructure security challanges, with a special focus on vulnerability management. This team is responsible for detecting vulnerabilities across a large scale infrastructure (half a million hosts, millions of containers and foot print across all major cloud providers.)

You will be responsible for building and operating platforms that help identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities in LinkedIn Infrastructure across hosts, cloud environment as well as in container ecosystem. This is a foundational function for securing our member's data.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in designing and building infrastructure and web services at large scale & strong object oriented skills.

  • Experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management
