Senior Solution Architect (Consultant / B2B Contractor)

Quadro Consulting is founded in 2014 in Bonn, Germany. Our company has been successfully delivering IT solutions to long-term clients across various industries including: Dating, Gaming, Payments & Finance, Printing & Marketing, Education and many more.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to support a diverse range of client projects and consulting engagements through a flexible B2B collaboration model. You will be our go-to person for defining high-level technical architectures across a wide variety of client engagements - from RPA and process automation, to custom software development, to AI/ML solutions, to security and infrastructure.

The core of this role is RFP response and pre-sales support: you receive a brief or RFP, quickly understand the domain and constraints, and produce a credible, well-structured architecture proposal. You work fast, with limited context, and deliver clarity where there was ambiguity.

What you'll be doing:

• Analyze RFPs, client briefs, and discovery outputs to produce high-level solution architectures under tight timelines.
• Design end-to-end architectures spanning cloud, AI, integrations, security, and automation.
• Lead or support technical discovery sessions, client workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Translate business requirements into system designs including integrations, data flows, APIs, security, and scalability.
• Create architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and technical sections for proposals.
• Provide architectural guidance during project delivery and support delivery teams in critical design decisions.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and approaches relevant to each engagement.
• Review existing architectures and recommend modernization strategies.

What you bring:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
• Broad technical range - able to architect solutions across different domains: enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, RPA, security, data platforms.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and modern application architectures.
  
• Experience with pre-sales, proposal writing, or RFP response processes.
• Understanding of security, governance, scalability, and reliability best practices.
• Experience in consulting or agency environments with multiple parallel client engagements.

• Strong Presentation Skills - comfortable leading workshops, presenting to clients, and defending architectural decisions.
• Team-oriented Approach - works well with delivery teams, PMs, and stakeholders across time zones.

Nice To Have:

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM-based solutions, AI agents, RAG architectures, orAI platform design.
• Experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, or similar).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Microsoft, AWS, TOGAF, or other relevant architecture certifications.
• Experience with solution estimation and effort/cost modeling for proposals.
