Get to know the Role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Specialist, People Systems to lead and enhance Workday solutions across Time Tracking, Absence Management, Time Off and Core HCM.

You will serve as the senior functional and technical SME for Time and Absence. You will partner with People teams, business stakeholders and technology teams to translate business and statutory requirements into scalable Workday solutions.

You will lead complex enhancements, support regional HR transformation programmes, and improve employee and manager experiences through reliable, compliant and user-friendly People Systems solutions.

This role will be reporting to the Solution Manager II, People Systems and will be based onsite at our Bangalore office.

You are comfortable starting work at 7:30 AM IST to accommodate meetings and collaboration with regional teams across different time zones.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

• Serve as the senior subject matter expert for Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, Time Off and related Core HCM processes.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday enhancements, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT and deployment.
• Translate country-specific employment policies, leave regulations and business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and controls.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve complex system issues, assess downstream impacts and provide recommendations.
• Support Workday implementation and transformation programmes, including time tracking, overtime, absence, payroll and integration readiness.
• Manage Workday releases and system improvements, including reporting, EIB, security and business process changes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, analysis and solution delivery.

Qualifications

The must haves skills

• 5+ years of experience with Workday, HRIS or People Systems, including hands-on expertise in Time Tracking, Absence Management and Core HCM.
• Led at least two Workday implementation cycles involving Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, business processes, testing, UAT and release management.
• Strong experience with Workday reporting, analytics, EIB and security administration.
• Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows and contribute new ideas..
