  • Proven track record writing technical proposal content for government and/or commercial RFPs
  • Strong understanding of managed services delivery models, staffing/pricing constructs, and SLA design

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Senior Solutions Consultant ready to take us to the next level! If you have experience as a pre-sales technical engineer/architect with a strong background in solution development within the proposal response process and are looking for your next career move, apply now!

Job Description

CAI is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Solutions Consultant to serve as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal solution writer across our core IT service lines. This role is pivotal to the success of our proposal efforts, partnering with Business Development, Capture, and Delivery leadership to translate client requirements into winning, technically sound solutions — spanning IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, Application Managed Services, Cloud (AWS/Azure), and Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in solution development within the proposal response and pre-sales process, the ability to collaborate and engage stakeholder teams, and a keen eye for detail. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who can move fluidly between technical depth and executive-level storytelling — someone equally comfortable whiteboarding a ServiceNow workflow, sizing a service desk staffing model, and writing the “Technical Approach” section of an RFP response. This position will be full-time and remote.

"This position does not offer employment sponsorship. All candidates must be eligible to work without need for sponsorship by employer."

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate and/or qualify opportunities for new business, including leveraging CAI collateral and developing/supporting new lines of business

  • Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams, subject matter experts, and delivery leads to shape win themes and technical differentiators

  • Provide technical review and quality control on proposal volumes prior to submission

  • Multi-task effectively to simultaneously support multiple concurrent initiatives

  • Advise stakeholders at all levels — mentoring other solutions consultants, advising CAI leadership, and facilitating communication across CAI, including legal and governance teams

  • Stay current on market trends, competitor positioning, and emerging capabilities (AI/automation, ITSM tooling, cloud managed services) to keep solutions competitive
