Senior Specialist Commercial Strategy – Maternity Cover (m/f/d)

In a nutshell

As part of the Commercial Strategy team, this role specializes in revenue management tactics to drive room revenue growth across member hotels.

This includes implementing revenue management technology, enabling pricing automation, and providing best-practice recommendations.

The role also builds and optimizes hotel technology ecosystems. This includes conducting system health checks, providing guided onboarding and expert support for Property Management Systems and payment technologies within SynXis and MARSHA CRS environments, as well as consulting hotels on Marriott’s OTA Distribution Solutions.

Leveraging cross-disciplinary expertise, the role also resolves complex distribution technology issues.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Support hotels on OTA strategies and manage relationship with Marriott OTA teams to develop optimization tactics
• Provide the Strategic Onboarding for Mews–Bonvoy Loyalty and Duetto Revenue Management System
• Provide payment consultations and coordination of payment integration testing in SynXis booking engine
• Perform Revenue Management System integration testing for Revenue Management Systems.
• Solve multi-layered and complex revenue and distribution tickets
• Provide technology recommendations to enable optimal onboarding of new members
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic technology partners
• Perform performance reviews with hotels and  assist in resolving rate parity cases
• Create ad hoc analysis and reporting for Design Hotels Leadership in collaboration with Director of Commercial Strategy

  

Experience & Mindset

Required

• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across hotels, internal teams and external technology providers

Preferred

• Experience with SynXis CRS integrations, implementation/onboarding, testing and issue resolution between systems
• Experience with Mews PMS and Revenue Management Systems such as Duetto, IDeaS G3 or Atomize
• Experience with Tableau data visualization tool

Skills

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across multiple teams
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
