Senior Specialist, Communications & Patient Advocacy

This role will support the development and execution of integrated communications programs that enhance corporate reputation, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support business objectives. The role requires strong project management, content development, media relations, and stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who can work effectively across functions and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

How you’ll make an impact:

Corporate Communications

·       Develop and implement internal and external communications plans aligned with business priorities.

·       Create high-quality content, including press releases, leadership messages, employee communications, speeches, presentations, newsletters, and social media content.

·       Support corporate storytelling initiatives that reinforce the company's mission, values, and strategic priorities.

·       Ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels.

Media Relations & PR

·       Build and maintain relationships with media, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.

·       Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, media briefings, and other external communication activities.

·       Monitor media coverage and industry trends and provide timely insights and recommendations.

·       Support crisis communication planning and response when needed.

Internal Communications

·       Drive employee engagement through effective communication programs and campaigns.

·       Support town halls, leadership communications, employee recognition initiatives, and change management communications.

·       Develop communication materials that help employees understand company priorities and business updates.

Content Development & Digital Communications

·       Manage the development of compelling content across internal and external platforms.

·       Support website updates, social media activities, and digital communication campaigns.

·       Work with designers, agencies, and vendors to produce communication assets and multimedia content.

Stakeholder Management

·       Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams

·       Manage external communication agencies, vendors, and partners as needed.

·       Provide communications counsel and support to business leaders and project teams.

Measurement & Reporting

·       Track and evaluate communications activities and campaign performance.

·       Prepare reports and dashboards on media coverage, communication metrics, and stakeholder engagement.

·       Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and best practices.

What you'll need (Required) :

-Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of previous related experience

-Experience gained from in-house communications or PR agencies

-Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other regulated industries

-Experience in project management, external and internal client management

-Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Excellent in written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, and interpersonal relationship skills

-Good ability to read, write and speak English, including the ability to translate

-Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

-Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to communications

-Full knowledge of communication processes

Full understanding of visual storytelling and its application across all marketing channels

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Ability to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group
