Senior Staff Engineer – Embedded Software Test and Automation

What you'll do
- Perform Verification and Validation of Medical Device Software and similar applications.
- Develop test automation suit using C/C++/ Python. Perform unit/ integration and system verification.
- Translate requirements into test design and implementation of same.
- Lead a team and perform design, develop and document test automation framework. Participate in code reviews, requirement tracing and documentation.
- Create Verification and Validation plan and other required documentation.
- Work with multi-disciplinary team and global R&D group including System Engineers, developers and global peers to create Test strategy.

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded software development/verification & validation with experience of leading a team of test development and test automation engineers.
- Strong knowledge and experience in C/C++/Python and experience in working with test fixture development involving hardware and software.
- Ability to understand datasheets, schematics and hands on experience with tools like oscilloscopes, function generator, DMM, logic analyzer and other hardware analysis tools.

- Highly developed ability to effectively troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience with revision control tools like Perforce, GitHub, bitbucket and knowledge on WiFi, connectivity, UART, SPI, I2C is preferred.
