What you'll do
- Experience in computer hardware repair, field services, desktop support, or technical support environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across laptop, desktop, and enterprise hardware platforms.
- Experience performing break/fix maintenance on enterprise-class hardware, including servers, storage devices, desktop PCs, notebooks, and peripheral equipment.
- Experience replacing and upgrading hardware components such as motherboards, power supplies, memory, storage devices, processors, screens, batteries, keyboards, SSDs, and other field-replaceable units.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware diagnostics, RAID configurations, firmware updates, and component replacement procedures.
- Practical experience with the installation, basic configuration, and cabling of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and associated connectivity equipment.
- Experience with equipment installation, rack mounting, patching, cable management, and basic site setup activities within enterprise customer environments.
- Good understanding of Windows operating systems and desktop computing environments.
- Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple onsite service requests.
- Experience in Apple Software.
