Senior Technical Specialist (Genomics Solutions) | Korea We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to provide scientific and technical expertise in support of advanced genomics solutions across Korea. Working closely with the commercial team, you will partner with researchers and customers to understand their scientific objectives, recommend appropriate solutions, and deliver technical guidance throughout the customer journey. As a trusted scientific advisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth, enhance the customer experience, and contribute to the successful adoption of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) products and services. Key Responsibilities Partner with the commercial team to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate genomics solutions. Provide scientific and technical expertise throughout the sales process, including customer consultations, product presentations, and technical demonstrations. Ensure timely creation of quotations in CRM systems, follow up on purchase orders, and support the creation of required internal documentation. Deliver technical support and troubleshooting to customers through both remote and on-site engagements. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's products, technologies, and service offerings, while staying informed of industry trends and emerging genomics technologies. Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate technical positioning of products and services. Represent the organization at scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, and industry events. Contribute to customer success by providing timely technical guidance and building trusted relationships with researchers and key stakeholders. Requirements Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Minimum of two years' experience working with academic, clinical, or research institutions. Experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies or genomics services is preferred. Strong understanding of genomics, NGS technologies, and the life sciences research landscape. Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to customers with diverse technical backgrounds. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
