What you'll do
- Understand business requirements and create data feeds for downstream systems
- Perform Ad-hoc business reporting
- Tune SQL and DB parameters for application performance
- Resolve Sybase (master-master) replication issues
- Manage Oracle DB Replication (Golden Gate/Data Guard) and Oracle 11g RAC Architecture
- Develop and maintain scripts on Unix platform using Shell and Perl
- Plan DB releases and manage DB environments
- Design DB objects for incoming/outgoing data
- Provide technical help to support teams
- Perform database maintenance, device DB capacity planning, and statistics collection
- Develop technology strategy and define new architectures
- Drive independent projects from an architectural standpoint

- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

- At least 8 years in the following areas: 1. Expert pl-sql developer on Sybase 12.5,15.0 and Oracle 11.0

Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred
• At least 11 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks

• Ability to Plan and implement DB releases as per application enhancements
• At least 7 years of experience working on DB objects designing for incoming / outgoing data
• At least 7 years of experience working on Administration of DB Issues / provide technical help to support Teams
• At least 7 years of experience working on Database maintenance Device DB Capacity & Statistics collection plans
• At least 7 years of experience in developing technology strategy.
• At least 7 years of experience in defining new architectures and driving an independent project from an architectural stand point.
• At least 7 years of experience in defining technology solutions for Financial Services domain to solve business/ IT problem.
• Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services.
• Understanding of market and technology trends.
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
