About the Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Treasury Officer is responsible for leading day-to-day treasury operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role manages cash flow, liquidity, funding and financial risk activities, while delivering accurate forecasting, supporting banking and debt management, and driving continuous improvement across treasury processes.

Working closely with finance leaders and key stakeholders, you will provide insights that support strategic decision-making and ensure strong governance

and controls across the treasury function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Group cash flow, liquidity and funding requirements.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, analyse variances and provide financial insights.
  • Support banking relationships, debt facilities and treasury operations.
  • Monitor financial covenants, liquidity and treasury risks, including FX and interest rate exposure.
  • Prepare treasury reporting for senior leadership, Board and Audit Committees.
  • Maintain treasury policies, controls, governance and compliance activities.
  • Support capital management, intercompany funding, acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee treasury accounting, reconciliations and reporting with Financial Control teams.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, systems and treasury technology enhancements.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded treasury professional who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

You will ideally bring:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in corporate treasury, banking or a treasury-focused finance role.
  • A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of cash and liquidity management, debt facilities, treasury controls and financial risk management.
  • Experience in cash flow forecasting, covenant monitoring and executive-level reporting.
  • An understanding of foreign exchange, interest rate risk and treasury accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving abilities.
