What you'll do

  • Own and maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and complete accounting records.
  • Manage accounting activities in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Review and approve customer invoices and ensure accurate billing records.

  • Lead and coordinate the month-end close process within defined timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and supporting schedules.

  • Ensure accounting documentation is properly organised and maintained for audit and compliance requirements.
  • Identify accounting discrepancies and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them promptly.

We are looking for an experienced Senior US Accountant to take ownership of the complete accounting cycle for a growing US-based business. This is a high-ownership role covering general ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US accounting principles, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), and the ability to independently manage accurate, organised, and audit-ready financial records.
