We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President - Corporate Banking Manager
In this role you will:
- Manage and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients, by developing a thorough understanding of clients’ business, industry and market dynamics
- Execute client strategy and account plan in partnership with product partners and bankers across the network to achieve sustainable growth and high returning client portfolio
- Ability to drive the full product solutioning across HSBC products suite for our clients, including transaction banking, risk management, investments and a wide ranging of financing structures and capital market transactions
- Work in partnership with partners and functional teams to drive a seamless delivery of one HSBC to our clients, including implementation, onboarding, documentation, and balancing optimal outcome for the bank and client.
- Undertake analysis and preparation of credit, capital management proposals and pitches as appropriately for specific business or client need
- Act as the First line of Defence to protect HSBC against Financial Crime Risk, and to ensure credit risk arising from the relationship with the clients is proactively managed at all times
To be successful you will need:
- Relevant experience in client coverage or corporate Banking roles. Experience driving multi-jurisdictional relationship will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Corporate Banking solutions, with strong Commercial acumen and credit skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive alignment among stakeholders
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, sales and communication skills
- Resourceful and Resilient
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
