Role Overview

Coats is looking for a Senior Videographer / Content Producer to support our growing marketing team through high-quality video production for brand, product, social, and event content.
This role is focused primarily on video production and content capture — including planning shoots, operating equipment, and capturing engaging content for campaigns and social platforms. Editing experience is a plus, but not required, as this role will collaborate closely with remote editors and internal creative partners.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a mix of planned shoots, product launches, events, and social content needs.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Content Capture

  • Plan and execute video shoots for products, events, brand storytelling, and social media.
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for in-house and on-location productions.
  • Capture content optimized for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and web.
  • Assist with creative shot planning and content execution alongside marketing leadership.

Production Coordination

  • Prepare and maintain production equipment and shoot kits.
  • Organize footage and upload assets for remote editors.
  • Ensure projects and footage are properly labeled and stored within company workflows.
  • Coordinate with remote editors to ensure smooth post-production handoff.

Content Support

  • Assist with content planning and brainstorming.
  • Support campaign launches, events, trade shows, and behind-the-scenes coverage.
  • Capture both polished marketing content and fast-turn social content.

Required Skills & Competencies

Videography & Production Experience

  • 3–5+ years of videography or video production experience.
  • Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, framing, and audio.
  • Experience in corporate videography / agency work.
  • Automotive, motorsports, or manufacturing portfolio work a plus.

Technical & Organizational Skills

  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong file management habits.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Basic to intermediate editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro a plus.

Collaboration & Work Style

  • Experience working with remote editors or creative teams.
  • Photography experience a plus.
  • Livestream or live production experience a plus.

Equipment & Software Familiarity

Experience with some or all of the following is preferred:
  • Nikon Z6, Z8
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • OneDrive, Lucid Link cloud-based collaboration tools
  • Aputure Lighting and Rhode audio setup

Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED
