About this role
Role Overview
We're hiring a Content Writer with strong SEO expertise to own our content pipeline — blogs, website copy, landing pages, and email campaigns. You'll work closely with our marketing team to produce content that drives organic traffic and supports conversions across our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit SEO-optimised blog posts, articles, and landing pages aligned with business and audience goals
- Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, keyword density)
- Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to align content with search intent and ranking goals
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent publishing cadence across channels
- Build and manage topic clusters and content hubs to strengthen site-wide SEO authority
- Conduct competitor content audits and identify content gaps and opportunities
- Optimise existing content for improved rankings through periodic content refreshes
- Track content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush/Ahrefs, and iterate based on data
- Write compelling website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions as needed
- Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats for social/email
- Brief and collaborate with designers on supporting visuals, infographics, and multimedia content
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices
- Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, well-researched, and factually accurate
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across teams to ensure content accuracy
- Mentor junior writers and support quality checks across the content team
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in content writing with a strong focus on SEO
- Proven track record of writing content that has ranked/performed well organically (portfolio required)
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, or similar)
- Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and content structuring for search intent
- Excellent written English — clarity, grammar, and tone adaptability
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear, reader-friendly content
- Comfortable working with content calendars and meeting deadlines
Good to Have
- Basic understanding of link-building and off-page SEO
- Familiarity with AI writing tools for research/drafting (with a strong editing eye)
