Service Engineer

Service Engineer

Invertek Drives is a rapidly growing global organisation, dedicated to developing and manufacturing cutting edge technologies for integration into future generations of our world renowned Optidrive product range.

Based in Welshpool, within the Service Department, Invertek Drives is seeking to appoint a Service Engineer to join our Service team.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced team, insuring the smooth running of the service department.

The ideal candidate will have a background in variable frequency drives, outstanding customer service qualities, and good organisational skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Repair returned customer drives to component level and retest to ensure full functionality.

· Liaising with customers via telephone and email to resolve service-related issues.

· Analysis of completed Service Request Forms

· Entering correct data into the Service database

· When required visit customer sites around the world to resolve service related

· Attend meeting with customers to help resolve service issues

· Laise with different departments within Invertek to raise and discuss issues

Essential skills and qualifications:

· Ideally qualified to a minimum of HNC in electronics

· Previous electronic repair experience

· Extremely organised along with the ability to manage workload efficiently.

· Great attention to detail in your work.

· Excellent customer service.

Working Hours are from 8.30 to 5pm Monday to Friday.
